Our services - What we can do for you

Photographs can illustrate almost any situation in order to convey information on practical matters. Photos not only show the object itself, but can also indicate the appropriate handles/positioning, tools, and personal protective equipment.

The big advantage is the closeness to reality, because a photo shows the object exactly as it is perceived by the user. What you see is easily comprehensible and can be transferred to reality.

Photography in technical editorial projects

Our Technical Editors are equipped with modern digital SLR cameras and trained in their operation.

As part of the research or at separate photo appointments, they take the pictures that are needed if the photo is the illustration medium of choice for you. Smaller products can also be professionally staged in our in-house photo studio. This ensures optimum illumination, sharpness, contrast and a uniform background.

In the technical editorial process, the photos are edited by the Technical Editor, in order to ensure the best possible presentation within the information unit. The standard photo editing includes a professional image editing (optimal image detail and tonal value corrections), as well as the completion with position numbers and motion arrows.

Your advantages when using digital photos

  • Reality depicted

  • Quick comprehension and orientation

  • Depiction of actions, tools and equipment

Add-ons, however, can increase the value of the images even further:

In addition to standard photo processing, we offer various stages of processing.

For example, we can hide the background of a photo, make it pale, or blur. The perspective can also be adjusted and optimised afterwards. Visualisation tools such as magnifying glasses, symbols, item numbers or arrows can reinforce the message of the image.
