In 2011, the Beuth Pocket series published a compact overview of the development of DIN EN ISO 12100:2011 from the standards DIN EN ISO 12100-1 and -2 and DIN EN ISO 14121-1.
The international standard DIN EN ISO 12100:2011-03 defines the basic terminology and methodology, as well as general principles for risk assessment and risk reduction. It summarises the contents of Parts 1 and 2 of DIN EN ISO 12100 (2004 edition) including all amendments published to date as well as the standard DIN EN ISO 14121-1:2007.
This Beuth Pocket explains why the three standards were merged. The clear presentation in tabular form quickly shows which contents of the previous standards have been included in which section of the new standard. Short comments provide a quick introduction to the subject.
