The New Solution Steps menu gives you an overview of newly added solution steps. These can be created by you or other participants in a project.

You can add events to the respective solution steps.

  1. Fig. 37: New solution steps

    Click in the navigator on the menu SupportNew solution steps (Fig. 37).

    All previous solution steps are listed in a new window.

  2. To add an event to a solution step, right-click the solution step.

    A context menu opens (Fig. 38).

  3. Click New Event to add a new event.

    A selection mask opens in a new window (Fig. 39).

  4. Parameters such as date/time and status are set automatically. The process number is also assigned automatically and is linked to the entry to which you set New Event. Also make sure that you are in the Problem Description tab (Create new event/1).

    Select the contact (Fig. 39/5) in the drop-down menu.

  5. Select the event type (Fig. 39/3) from the drop-down menu.

  6. Use the drop-down menu to set the priority (Fig. 39/4).

  7. Select the corresponding product (Fig. 39/6) in the drop-down menu.

  8. Describe the event in the Description (Fig. 39/7) input field.

  9. Add a file (if desired) (Fig. 39/8). Use the upper symbol Insert file or the lower symbol Files.

  10. Confirm your entry with the symbol .
