Technical Editorial department 1 looks after our customers in Southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The team of approximately 45 employees not only takes care of the actual technical editing, but also covers the topics of product safety, terminology, visualisation and process control.
The consultants of Technical Editorial 1 develop information concepts for customers in the south and take care of controlling and process optimisation. The staff of Technical Editorial 1 also give training courses within the framework of the kothes academy.
Frank Spieker, Head of Technical Editorial 1
Frank Spieker heads Technical Editorial 1. After completing his training as a Computer Scientist and subsequently studying “Journalism and Technical Communication" at Gelsenkirchen University of Applied Sciences, he joined kothes in 2006. He first worked as a Technical Editor, then as a Project Manager and Group Leader. With the restructuring in 2016 he took over the management of the Technical Editorial department 1.
