Professional article HMD practice: “Augmented documentation – implementing technical innovation in daily practice”
“HMD Praxis” is published by Springer and provides IT specialists and managers with solutions to their current challenges; it identifies methods of implementation, and it provides news on Business Informatics (BI). WI students, researchers and lecturers learn which topics present challenges in the practice of their subject and are currently being discussed in research.
Our Innovation Manager Christopher Rechtien, together with Beke Redlich, Research Assistant at the Jacobs University Bremen, have written an article entitled "Augmented Documentation - Implementing technical innovation in everyday practice". This is about the application of Augmented Reality in the field of Technical Documentation.
In this article, the special application of Augmented Reality technology to the field of Technical Documentation is explained and discussed. Furthermore, a dedicated innovation project concerning the implementation of Augmented Documentation is presented, which was carried out on the basis of Action Design Research and in which the findings based on it were implemented.
