The My Events menu lists events that are assigned to you. You can restrict this list according to parameters.
Here you can create new events (⇘ ‘Changes in events’) or create solution steps for problems (⇘ ‘Add a new solution step’).

A window with parameters opens (Fig. 44).

Specify your search here by event type, product, event date, etc. to narrow down the list of displayed events.
The selection of parameters is optional. This is only for containment purposes. If you do not select a parameter and click Open, all your events will be displayed.

Click Open.
A list of events that match your entries opens.
Add new event

To add a new event, right-click an entry in the list of your events.
A context menu opens (Fig. 45).

Click Open to view more details about the event.

Click New Event to add a new event.
A selection mask opens in a new window (Fig. 46).

Parameters such as date/time and status are set automatically. The process number is also assigned automatically and is linked to the entry on which you set New Event. Also make sure you are in the Problem description field (Create new event/1).
Select the contact (Fig. 46/5) in the drop-down menu.

Select the event type (Fig. 46/3) from the drop-down menu.

Use the drop-down menu to set the priority (Fig. 46/4).

Select the corresponding product (Fig. 46/6) in the drop-down menu.

Describe the event in Description (Fig. 46/7).

Add a file (if desired) (Fig. 46/8). To do this, use the upper Insert file symbol or the lower Files symbol

Confirm your entry with the symbol

Add a new solution step
Prerequisites:

You have selected an event.

In Add ⇘ ‘Add new event’ New Event, follow steps 1, 2, and 4.

Click Solution Steps (Fig. 46/2).
The problem description for your selected event opens.

Right-click the problem description.
A context menu opens (Fig. 47).
