Seminar "Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC" - Product Safety - CE conformity - Seminar descriptions - Overview - Overview

Our services - What we can do for you

What's it about?

The Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and corresponding EU directives form the legal basis for the marketing of machines in the EU. There, requirements for safety and health protection are formulated which every manufacturer must meet. Operators can become manufacturers by rebuilding or by combining machines to form "systems".

A legally-compliant product requires the cooperation of many departments such as sales, development, purchasing, technical documentation, service and production. Each department must know its part in the CE process, in order to avoid considerable effort, costs or liability cases.

The seminar creates a basis for determining legal requirements for machines and plants across departments, and it provides support for implementation.
